Sangam detects TB in 10 minutes.. Screening with the latest machines

-A state-of-the-art hand-held X-ray program was organized as part of ‘TB Mukt Bharat 2.0’ in Sangam mandal, Nellore district. Sangam: On the orders of District Tuberculosis Eradication Officer Dr. Khadar Wali, a hand-held X-ray program was organized as part of the TB Mukt Bharat 2.0 program under the supervision of Dr. Ashok of Sangam Primary Health Center under the Peramana Sub-Center under the Sangam Primary Health Center in Sangam mandal, Nellore district. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashok explained how important it is to detect this disease at an early stage, whether people have symptoms or not. He said that people should be vigilant about their health and get health tests done at our primary health center as soon as symptoms like cough, fever and weight loss appear. He said that X-ray tests conducted through a state-of-the-art hand-held X-ray machine can determine whether there is TB within ten minutes. All the people in the village took these X-rays and confirmed whether there is the disease. If the patient has TB, they will take the medicine from the next day under the supervision of ASHA volunteers for a six-month course of medicine. Similarly, this program was organized in Duvvur, Padamatipalem, Sangam, and Peramana villages in the mandal. 100 X-rays were taken per village in high-risk areas. In the second phase, it was informed that these X-rays will be taken for all people above 14 years of age in each village. District Lab TB Supervisor Narasimhulu, Buchi Unit STS Suresh, Supervisor, Stop MLHPs, Health Assistant ANMs, ASHA volunteers participated in this program.
