On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced that permanent yoga centers will be set up across the state. He said that special yoga centers will be set up in golden villages and ward secretariats and special officers will be appointed to manage them. He said that yoga is key to building a healthy and happy Andhra Pradesh. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev participated in the program and performed yoga asanas. The government hopes that this program will be useful in promoting health awareness among the people.
