Yelamanchili, Punnami News Reporter Anand: A comprehensive awareness program on natural farming was organized under the auspices of the APCNF project in Yelamanchili mandal. The program was held at the MPDO office under the auspices of Anakapalle District District Project Manager Ch. Lachanna. Staff from the Agriculture, Natural Farming, Velugu, and Employment Guarantee Scheme departments and mandal leaders participated in this program. On this occasion, Honorary Mandal Parishad President Rajana Suryachandra Seshagiri Rao, Mandal Jana Sena Party Presidents Annam Babji, Lalam Somunaidu, and Kolagani Bhaskar participated and explained the importance of natural farming to the farmers. The goal is to reach every village farmer in Yelamanchili mandal and encourage them towards chemical-free farming methods. District Project Manager Ch. Lachanna explained the use of PMDS, preparation of infusion solutions, services of bio-resource centers, and the health and environmental benefits of natural farming. Stating that organic farming contributes to healthy food production by increasing soil fertility, he called on all farmers to widely adopt this approach. MPDO, APCNF staff, organic farming staff and officials of various departments participated in the program.
