Nellore, July 3 (Punnami Representative): RDO Anusha lamented that gross negligence had come to light in the BPL survey conducted in Nellore Rural Mandal. She said that the failure to identify at least fifteen eligible people out of a hundred people was evidence of failure in conducting the survey. Show-cause notices were issued to five staff members, warning that strict action would be taken against the officials who performed their duties negligently. Betala Narendra, Lakshmi Prasanthi, Nandam Gopikrishna, Sheikh Naseem and Pusugoti Chenchukeshavulu were ordered to give an immediate explanation. She made it clear that such negligence will not be tolerated in the future.
