Fatal accident near Central Park – Lorry hits parked car, one dead A fatal road accident took place on Thursday night at Illendu Cross Road near Central Park in Kothagudem town of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. According to information, a Mahindra XUV car coming from Bhupalapally towards Kothagudem was parked on the side of the road and had its indicators turned on. However, at the same time, a speeding lorry hit the car hard… The time was early in the morning @ 01.00am.. A person named Chimala Upender (33) who was in the car died on the spot in the accident. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Manuguru area. There were a total of three passengers in the car, while the other two were injured. On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and took up rescue operations. The body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem, a case was registered and an investigation was started. This incident casts a shadow of sadness over the Manuguru area.
