Anakapalle District, June 20 (Punnami News Reporter Anand): Farmers’ representatives participated in the “Khet Bachao Abhiyan” program organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of 12 years of public rule under the leadership of Elamanchili Mandal Kisan Morcha President Shennamsetty Srinu. In this program held at the party office of MP CM Ramesh in Anakapalle, the leaders mentioned the problems faced by the farmers of Atikoppaka area. In particular, the issue of renovation of Atikoppaka Sugar Factory was brought to the attention of MP CM Ramesh and the state Kisan Morcha presidents and the concerns of the farmers were explained. A written petition was submitted requesting immediate action to protect the interests of the farmers. Farmers’ Association President Nagireddy Satyanarayana, Elamanchili Rural Propaganda Secretary Dhara Nukaraju, District Artisan Cell Leader Molleti Prasad, farmers and party workers participated in the program. The leaders assured that they would work to resolve the problems of the farmers.
