Khammam, July 1 (Puvvada Nagendra Kumar – Punnami District Reporter) Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a protest in front of the old bus stand in Khammam city on Wednesday demanding the immediate release of Rs. 1,000 crore in pending scholarships and fee reimbursement funds under the auspices of the Khammam city branch. Speaking on the occasion, ABVP leaders said that thousands of students across the state are facing severe difficulties due to non-payment of scholarship and fee reimbursement arrears. Keeping the future of the students in mind, they demanded that the government immediately release the pending funds. They warned that they would intensify the movement if the government did not resolve the problems of the students immediately. ABVP state executive committee member Chava Praneeth, state executive committee member Bellamkonda Ajay, city secretary Dikonda Karthik, city officials Deepak, Sidhu, Phanindra, Sai Charan, Charan, Nandkishore and other leaders and activists participated in the program.
