Gopalapuram: A large number of Tobacco Board members and tobacco farmers participated in the event when Guntur Tobacco Board Executive Director (ED) Vishwasree Madam visited the Gopalapuram Tobacco Auction Center. On this occasion, the farmers who inspected the tobacco purchases taking place at the auction center approached her and requested her to ensure that they get a good price for their tobacco crop. She assured them that the board would always stand by the farmers; Many praised the services provided by Vishwasree Madam to the tobacco sector, especially for the welfare of farmers and their economic development, and the revolutionary decisions she is taking and the farmer-friendly policies that are taking the tobacco sector further forward. As part of this special program, Gopalapuram Constituency Women President Kakarla Ramathulasi honored ED Vishwasri Madam and presented her with a shawl and a cup (memento) in appreciation of her excellent services and continuous efforts to the Tobacco Board. The Tobacco Board members and local tobacco farmers who participated in the program expressed their special gratitude to ED Vishwasri for patiently listening to their problems and being constantly available and providing services, as well as to Kakarla Ramathulasi, the Women President, who organized this grand honoring program.
