It has said that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and other states in the coming days. Officials have warned that gusty winds of up to 70 kmph are likely in some areas. Delhi is also likely to receive light to moderate rains. The IMD has advised people to take necessary precautions.
