Komaram Bhima Asifabad Punnami Reporter, June 30: Patients and their assistants are expressing deep concern that the official diet menu approved by the government is not being implemented at the Komaram Bhim Asifabad District Central Government Hospital. According to the hospital’s official diet menu, pregnant women, children and general patients are supposed to be provided with nutritious food like milk, bread, eggs, bananas, curd/buttermilk, curries, sambar, and a fixed quantity of rice. However, the patients are alleging that the food items mentioned in the menu and the fixed quantity of meals are not being provided. A few days ago, the District Collector visited the government hospital and directed the officials to take steps to ensure that the patients get better medical services and quality food. However, the patients and their assistants are alleging that the diet menu prescribed by the government is not being fully implemented. They are expressing their concern that the patients undergoing treatment are facing difficulties due to negligence in the implementation of the diet menu, which is very crucial for the health of the patients. People are demanding that the District Collector and District Medical and Health Department officials immediately conduct an investigation into this issue, take action against those who do not implement the diet menu, and take strict measures to ensure that patients receive quality, hygienic, and adequate food as prescribed by the government.

The situation did not change even with the Collector’s visit… Diet in the government hospital is in chaos..!
