Educational problems in the district should be resolved immediately.

The Progressive Democratic Students’ Union has demanded that the problems in the education sector in Adilabad district be resolved immediately. On Monday, a petition was submitted to Additional Collector Raisidham Chitru at the District Collector’s office under the auspices of PDSU. Speaking on the occasion, District President Pendur Deepalakshmi and District Chief Secretary Madavi Ganesh demanded that textbooks and uniforms be provided to students in government schools in the district on time. They also demanded that quality mid-day meals be provided to students and that vacant teacher and MEO posts in the education department be filled immediately. They demanded that the closure of government schools in the district be stopped, illegal deputations in the education department be canceled, the mid-day meal scheme mess charges be increased in line with the increased prices, and the pending mid-day meal bills be released immediately. The leaders warned that if the government continues to neglect the problems of students, they will organize agitation programs across the district under the auspices of PDSU. PDSU District Assistant Secretary Kanaka Dattatri, PYL State Leader Mesram Maruthi and others participated in the program.
