SPSR Nellore District June 29 (Punnami Representative) The National Pulse Polio Program was organized on Sunday in Nellatur village under the jurisdiction of Chennur Primary Health Center of Gudur Mandal under the auspices of the Health and Family Welfare Department. With the slogan “2 drops for a full life”, booth coordinators T. Shalish (CHO) and I. Shashidevi (ANM) administered polio drops to children between the ages of 0 and 5. They made the villagers aware about polio eradication and suggested that every child should be given a polio dose every time. The villagers appreciated the services of the health staff and thanked the state health department. ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and villagers participated in the program.
