Devotees flocking to the festival of bread…special focus on safety

Nellore: A large number of devotees are flocking to the Rotela Festival at Bara Shaheed Dargah. The police, who have made tight security arrangements, are constantly monitoring the situation. State Minister Narayana reviewed the situation from the Police Command Control Center and launched the drones set up for surveillance. Later, he participated in the food distribution program. Minister Narayana said that the Rotela Festival is being organized as a state festival with great prestige and devotees are flocking beyond imagination. He said that about 3 to 4 lakh devotees are attending the festival every day. He said that the corporation and police departments have appointed special staff and are taking steps without any shortcomings in management and security. He said that after the coalition government came to power, Rs. 5 crore has been sanctioned for the development of the dargah. He said that special identification tags are being installed so that children do not go missing, and a system is being implemented to immediately identify missing children and hand them over to their parents. The Minister said that the donors’ cooperation in the Rotela Festival and development is commendable and congratulated the officials for making the arrangements efficiently.
