Tallapudi Punnami Representative, June 26: As per the instructions of the Central Election Commission, the special voter list revision program in Tallapudi mandal started a few days ago. The Revenue Divisional Officer advised that everyone who is eligible should register their name in the list so that they can exercise their right to vote. He said that young men and women who have completed 18 years of age should register their votes anew through Form-6. He said that if there are any mistakes in the name, age, photo etc. details in the voter card, they can be corrected through Form-8. He explained that those who have moved from one polling center to another and those who have come from other areas can also make changes through Form-8. He advised that Form-7 should be submitted to remove the names of deceased persons and secondary votes. He said that the forms can be submitted directly at the village and ward secretariats, Mee Seva Kendras, and booth level officials. He advised that Aadhaar card, 10th class memo or birth certificate for age verification, current address proof, and one passport size photograph should be attached. He said that the right to vote is the foundation of democracy and no eligible person should be left without a vote. He urged that applications should be submitted immediately without waiting until the last date. Representatives of all political parties and youth organizations participated in a program held at the Tallapudi Revenue Office on Friday and were advised to create awareness among voters. On this occasion, Kilani Venkataramana was unanimously elected as the president of the Tallapudi OBC Morcha Mandal. The leaders stated that the goal of the Bharatiya Janata Party is the development of the country.
