Police caught a thief… Three arrested…

The police have cracked two major theft cases that took place recently in Yaddalavaripalli, Obulavaripalli mandal, Tirupati district. In connection with these cases, three youths were arrested and 17 tola gold ornaments worth Rs. 18.70 lakhs were seized from them. The accused targeted the gold ornaments stored in the houses of Ananthamma and Yaddalavaripalli of the village and stole about 19 tola gold. The police, who registered cases on the complaints of the victims, deployed a special team on the orders of District SP L. Subbarayudu. The movements of the accused were identified with technical evidence and intelligence information and were arrested at the intersection of three roads on the railway Kodur-Y.Kota route. Among those arrested are Kondeti Jyothi Prakash alias Pawan, Ummaka Shiva Manoj, and Nandaluru Kaushik Kumar Reddy. Most of the stolen jewelry was seized from them. Another accused, Akhil Vardhan, is absconding and special teams are searching for him. The District SP specially congratulated Rural CI D. Srinivasulu, SI K. Sujan Kumar and the police personnel who played a key role in solving the case quickly and arresting the accused. He advised the people to be vigilant about the safety of their valuables and to immediately provide information about suspicious persons to the police. The SP clarified that strict action will continue against the criminals.
