– Funds of Rs. 1.99 crore have been sanctioned for the repairs of damaged embankments and flood embankments at Sangam Barrage in Nellore district. Telugu Ganga EE Anil Kumar Reddy said that administrative approvals have been received for 10 works at a cost of Rs. 1.98 crore 95 thousand 377 for the repairs of damaged embankments, flood embankments and other works at Sangam Barrage in Sangam Mandal Center of Nellore district. After visiting and inspecting the barrage, he said that bed pitching restoration, protection of the left bank of the Pennanadi and road repairs will be undertaken. He revealed that the works will be started soon and completed within the stipulated time.
