Sangam: A mandal-level convergence meeting was held on Pulse Polio under the auspices of the MPDO of Sangam mandal of Nellore district under the supervision of the local medical officer Dr. B Srinivas Reddy. The program was attended by the local MRO, MEO and other mandal officials. The medical officer at the local primary health center, Dr. Srinivasulu Reddy held a review meeting with the medical and health staff of Pulse Polio 2026 today. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Pulse Polio program will be held on Sunday, the 28th of this month. He said that all children under the age of five years will be given polio drops in the PHC area and the target of 100 percent coverage will be achieved. It was found that there are 2996 children under the age of five in the Sangam Mandal. He said that 23 booths and one transit vehicle, one mobile vehicle and four route vehicles will be set up for children under the age of five. He asked all the people living in the Mandal to cooperate in the eradication of polio by giving polio drops to every child under your jurisdiction, from newborn to 5 years. He said that this program will be conducted with booth activity on the first day, and going door to door on the second and third days. Dr. Ashok H.E.O. Mallam Kondaiah, Supervisor Stop Jalil Mary Sujatha and medical and health staff participated in this program.
