Yelamanchili, June 23 (Punnami News Reporter Anand): The article published in Punnami News with the title “Who will listen to the voice of the people..?” on the difficulties faced by the people due to the unavailability of the Panchayat Secretary in Etikoppaka village received a response. In this context, Etikoppaka Gram Panchayat In-charge Secretary K. Giriprasad Rao issued a clarification. He said that while he is performing his duties as the Secretary of Lainakottur Gram Panchayat, he is temporarily in-charge of Rukminipuram and Etikoppaka Gram Panchayats due to staff promotions and transfers. Similarly, he said that since he was recently given the responsibility of Deputy MPDO In-charge, he has to devote more time to administrative work, field inquiries and other activities at the mandal center. He admitted that it was not possible to visit the Etikoppaka Panchayat every day due to these reasons and clarified that he would henceforth be available at the Etikoppaka Gram Panchayat office on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week, keeping in mind the convenience of the people. The villagers are expressing satisfaction with the response of the officials and providing clarity to the people in the wake of the article published in Punnami News. The locals are of the opinion that if the officials are more available to solve the problems of the people, it will contribute to the development of the village.
