Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while launching three newly built indigenous naval ships, said that the maritime sector has become a key force for the country’s development. He said that no country has become a global power without maritime capability. He said that strengthening the Indian Navy, developing coastal infrastructure and expanding maritime trade will further strengthen the country’s economy. He said that in line with the goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, indigenous products are being promoted in the defence sector.
