June 20, 2026: District Collector K. Haritha said that show cause notices have been issued to doctors who were absent from duty in the district’s Punnami representative office. On Saturday, he visited the Primary Health Center in Kerimeri Mandal Center of the district and inspected the facilities provided to patients in the hospital, sanitation management, registers and records. In this context, he directed the officials to issue show cause notices to the concerned doctors after noticing the absence of doctors from duty. He said that better medical services should be provided to the people coming to the hospital while adhering to the time schedule for their duties.
