The Right to Education Act should be strictly implemented.

Kumuram Bheem Asifabad (Punnami Representative) Private schools are mushrooming across the district, private schools are dominating everywhere, fees are being extorted from students indiscriminately, said a petition submitted to District Education Officer D. Sachchitananda Chari under the auspices of DYFI. On this occasion, DYFI District Secretary Godisela Karthik said that private schools in the district are collecting fees indiscriminately without following government regulations and without implementing the Right to Education Act. 25 percent free education should be provided to poor students, especially in Sri Chaitanya VIP Shantiniketan St. Clarity St. Mary and other schools in Kagaznagar mandal. Fees in lakhs are being collected without setting a fee schedule. Moreover, they are selling shoes, belts, ties, uniforms and textbooks at high rates in schools without following government regulations and are trading education. Therefore, a complete inspection should be conducted in private schools and private schools that are selling textbooks and other things should be stopped. Responding to this, the DEO said that we, as the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), are demanding action against schools. He said that we will immediately conduct inspections in private schools and take action against schools selling textbooks and uniforms. He said that we will issue notices to private schools to run them as per the Right to Education Act. He also said that steps will be taken to provide 25 percent free education to poor students. DYFI District Vice President Durgam Nikhil was present at the event.
