The foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the Sri Sitaram temple in Duttalur village was held with great devotion. The leaders, who attended the program as the chief guests, along with former MLA Kambham Vijayaramireddy and his wife, participated in the Bhoomi Pooja, Vastu Shanti and foundation stone laying ceremonies amidst the chanting of mantras by Vedic scholars. A large number of villagers and devotees attended the program and made it a success. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the construction of the temple is the long-standing aspiration of the devotees and that Duttalur will further develop as a spiritual center after the completion of the temple. He assured that he would provide his full support for the construction of the temple. Later, he received the Tirtha Prasadam along with the devotees and participated in the Annadana program.
