SPSR Nellore District June 18 (Punnami Representative) A water auto driver was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred on Thursday morning at Kagitalapur Cross Road in Manubolu Mandal. While Jeevaratnam of Nellore from Manubolu was crossing the road with an auto carrying a water tanker, a car heading from Nellore towards Gudur came at a high speed and hit him. Jeevaratnam suffered serious head injuries in the accident. Traffic was disrupted for some time due to the accident. Locals immediately informed 108 ambulance, whose staff reached the spot and after first aid, shifted the victim to Gudur Government Hospital for better treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
