Sri Kalahasti, June 15, (Punnami News): CPM Srikalahasti Regional Secretary Gandham Mani has appealed to the government to immediately resolve the age-old issue of a crematorium in Kammakotthur village in Srikalahasti mandal. The people of Kammakotthur village, under the auspices of the Anti-Caste Discrimination Struggle Association (KVPS), staged a massive protest at the local RDO office on Monday. After expressing support for the protest, Gandham Mani said that it is sad that even after decades of independence, Dalits still do not have access to crematoriums.
