MLA inspects special voter list revision process in Patur village MLA personally inspected the house-to-house survey being conducted in Patur village of Vinjamur mandal as part of the Special Comprehensive Voter List Revision (SIR) program undertaken by the Election Commission of India. On this occasion, Tehsildar Swarna along with BLOs and BLAs inspected the details of the people and supervised the voter list revision work. Stating that the right to vote is very valuable in a democracy, he asked all political parties, leaders and activists to cooperate so that not a single eligible voter is missed. He said that registration of new voters through Form-6, deletions through Form-7, and revision of details through Form-8 are ongoing. People are advised to utilize this opportunity and register their voting rights properly. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people for their cooperation.
