They called on the youth to work at the forefront for the development of the society and the progress of the country, and to stay away from social vices like drugs, ganja and alcohol and move forward with brotherhood. The Bharatiya Janata Party (DYFI) Yacharam Mandal Mahasabha was held grandly in Bandikanti Shekharnagar, Chintapatla village under the mandal. On this occasion, the new mandal committee was elected unanimously. Kondru Bhaskar was elected as the mandal president, Allampalli Jangayya as the general secretary, Ramesh, Ganesh, Srikanth as the vice presidents, Upender and Saidulu as assistant secretaries. Jangayya, Raju, Bhushan, Anil, Abbas and others were elected as committee members. Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected leaders said that the unemployment problem faced by the youth has become a major problem in the country. They urged the government to provide job opportunities to the youth and expand skill development programs. They appealed to the government to pay special attention to issues like education, employment, sports and social awareness for rural youth. They suggested that strict measures should be taken to curb the increasing drug use among the youth and that youth organizations should work with social responsibility. They said that DYFI will continuously fight for the rights of the youth and will further strengthen movements to solve public problems.
