Atmakur, July 1 (Representative of Harikiran, Punnami): State Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy personally distributed pensions to beneficiaries through the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, which is being ambitiously implemented by the Andhra Pradesh government. On Wednesday, the minister went to the homes of the beneficiaries in the tribal colony of Srikolanu village, AS Peta mandal, Atmakur constituency and handed over the pension amount. In the meeting held later, the minister spoke affectionately to the elderly, disabled, widows, other pension beneficiaries, as well as Brahmin beneficiaries, and inquired about their problems and welfare. Minister Anam said that the welfare of the people is the main goal of the government. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the program of providing pensions at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries on the first day of every month is continuing successfully. The minister revealed that a total of Rs. 12.86 lakh pension has been distributed to 305 beneficiaries in the Srikolanu Gram Panchayat area. He also said that the government is providing more than Rs. 16.22 crore to 36,354 beneficiaries in the Atmakur constituency area and more than Rs. 127.23 crore to 2,87,345 beneficiaries in the Nellore district. Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy handed over Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to three families from AS Peta mandal who had recently sought financial assistance after undergoing treatment for illness. The minister said that in the last two years, the NDA coalition government has provided government assistance of Rs. 8 crore 19 lakh 76 thousand 563 to 876 families in the Atmakur constituency area. Local public representatives, officials, and village leaders participated in this program.
