Revenue officials have taken steps to successfully conduct the ambitious SIR registration program across the country. As part of this, Atmakur Tahsildar Padmaja Kumari made several suggestions to the revenue staff on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Tahsildar instructed the staff to conduct the SIR registration process without any errors. He suggested that they should go to every house and create awareness among the people with the help of local public representatives and distribute declaration forms.
He said that the details included in the forms during the house-to-house survey should be verified with the people and recorded properly. He also ordered that two color passport size photographs be collected from each applicant. He suggested that the importance of the SIR program should be explained to the people and awareness should be created so that everyone provides correct details. He told the staff to move forward by clearing any doubts that the people may have in this process.
Tehsildar Padmaja Kumari stated that in this prestigious program undertaken by the government, the revenue staff should act responsibly and complete the registration process within the stipulated time.
He suggested that steps be taken to ensure that the details of everyone eligible are properly recorded, and that officers and staff work in coordination to make the SIR program a success.
