In a recent incident, an unidentified person stole petrol from a two-wheeler parked in front of a house in the middle of the night. The incident was recorded on CCTV camera and the locals were shocked. According to the victim, he parked his bike in front of his house as usual and went inside. The next morning, shortly after he set out on his bike, the vehicle stopped in the middle of the road, so he initially thought that there might be a technical fault. Later, he noticed that the petrol was completely empty and became suspicious, so he checked the CCTV footage installed at the house. In the footage, an unidentified person wearing a cloth over his face slowly approached the bike in the middle of the night and using a specially brought pipe to drain the petrol from the tank was clearly recorded. The video shows that he then fled from there without anyone noticing. The incident has caused panic among the people of Bhagyanagar Colony and nearby areas. Recently, there have been reports of petrol thefts from bikes in many areas, which has led to a situation where locals need to be more vigilant. Locals are requesting police officers to increase police surveillance in the colonies at night, pay special attention to suspicious people, and conduct frequent patrols.
