Future City Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi visited Pharma City Police Station Public safety is the main objective of the police department – Commissioner Sharath Punnami News Representative Rangareddy District Ibrahimpatnam Constituency In-charge: Pharma City, June 19: Future City Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi, IPS today visited Pharma City Police Station and conducted a comprehensive review of the law and order situation there, the implementation of police services, and the services provided to the people. He discussed extensively with the officers on issues such as policing policies being implemented within the station limits, cases being registered, the progress of their investigation, and police connectivity with the people. On this occasion, Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi, who met with the police officers and staff, suggested that services be provided in a way that further strengthens the trust of the people. In addition to taking swift action in resolving public problems, every complaint should be responsibly received and resolved legally. He suggested that the staff should demonstrate commitment, honesty, and discipline in the performance of their duties so that the people’s trust in the police department increases. Later, the Commissioner spoke directly to the people who came to the police station and learned about their problems and requests. He instructed the officers to collect opinions on the services being provided to the people and take necessary steps to provide better services. He stated that it is the responsibility of the police department to create an environment where people can approach the police without fear. Speaking, the Commissioner said that it is the most important responsibility of every police officer to treat the people with courtesy and friendliness. He advised that complainants should be received with respect, listen to their problems patiently and work towards legal solutions. He especially instructed that special care should be taken without any negligence in the matter of the safety of women, children and the elderly. The Commissioner advised that they should be vigilant in maintaining law and order and that continuous vigil should be maintained for crime control. He said that special vigil should be kept on suspicious activities and steps should be taken to curb crimes with the cooperation of the people. He suggested that community policing programs should be further strengthened and close relations should be maintained with the people in villages, colonies and urban areas. The Commissioner stated that modern methods should be implemented in crime control using technology. He suggested that the police personnel should improve their skills in areas such as monitoring CCTV cameras, collecting digital evidence, and preventing cyber crimes. He said that every available technological resource should be used effectively for the safety of the people. He said that discipline, transparency, and service in the performance of duty will bring good recognition to the police department. He suggested that the main goal of the police department is to provide welfare, security, and justice to the people, and every officer should work towards that end with dedication. Addressing the people, Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi made it clear that in case of any problem, the police department should be contacted immediately and that the police department is always committed to providing quality, fast, and transparent services to the people under the Future City Police Commissionerate.
