Madanapalle, October 02 (Punnami News Correspondent): Madanapalle has become the venue for a new industrial and agricultural revolution that will change the face of Rayalaseema. In Madanapalle, Annamaya district, the foundation stone for the construction of the prestigious ‘Indian School of Agriculture’ (ISA) along with the international level ‘Global Horticulture Hub’ to be set up at a huge cost of about Rs. 1 lakh crore was laid on Friday. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh, Reliance spokesperson Anant Ambani and others were present at this historic event and formally inaugurated the project work by planting saplings. The Indian School of Agriculture, which will be set up in collaboration with the Reliance Group, will bring modern technology-based agricultural education and research closer to farmers. With the establishment of this horticulture hub, a global market will be available for the cultivation of fruit gardens and horticultural crops across Rayalaseema, and thousands of employment opportunities will be available to local youth. The leaders made it clear that the coalition government is taking up this massive project with the aim of developing Annadataas into global entrepreneurs. Several central and state ministers, public representatives and high-ranking officials participated in the program.
