A mobile app called ‘Coolphabets’ has been created to help children growing up abroad or away from their home state learn their mother tongue easily. Vijayawada-based software engineer Kollu Ranjith developed this app along with his colleagues. Currently available in Telugu, Hindi and Marathi, the app will soon be released in other Indian languages. It has been designed to teach children how to write letters, learn pronunciation and learn the language through games with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). Developed especially with children aged 3 to 10 years in mind, the development team said that this app will be useful for preserving mother tongues.
