“Two drops for a full life.. Ensuring the health of children with pulse polio”

Atikoppaka June 28 | Punnami News Reporter Anand: On June 28, under the auspices of the Health & Family Welfare Department, a pulse polio program was successfully organized in Atikoppaka village. By administering polio drops to children under the age of five, the medical staff created awareness that every parent should be a partner in building a polio-free society. In this program, senior BJP leaders of Anakapalle district, Elamanchili mandal, Kisan Morcha President Shannamsetty Srinu, Elamanchili Rural Campaign Worker Nukaraju, BJP workers David Raju, Sheikh Sai Baba participated and administered polio drops to children and expressed their support for the program. Also, Medical Officer Rohini, CHO Krishnaveni, Anganwadi staff, and ASHA workers successfully organized the program in coordination. The people of the village also responded exceptionally and administered pulse polio drops to their children, making the program a success. Medical staff said that a dangerous disease like polio could be completely prevented by giving every child two drops of the vaccine.
