In the premises of the famous Sri Veerabrahmendra Swami temple, devotees and temple staff are leaving their foot protectors wherever they go, thereby tarnishing the image of the Swami. Going into details, a foot protector stand has been set up outside the temple to keep the slippers of devotees who come to have darshan of the Swami from being taken inside the temple and not being taken inside, and tenders have been floated and handed over to the tenderer. But some devotees are going inside the temple wearing slippers and leaving them wherever they fall, but the staff is not taking any action. The staff working in the temple, thinking that if a cow grazes in the field, it will graze on the calf’s back, is not only walking around the temple premises wearing slippers but also leaving them in the office rooms and inside the northern galigopuram. Seeing all this, the devotees are roaming freely in the temple wearing slippers without any hesitation. The Brahmangarimatham Mathadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Veera Bhoga Vasantha Venkateswara Swamy, who is watching all this, is not taking any action against the staff. Therefore, to protect the prestige of the Brahmangari temple, the villagers and devotees are requesting that steps be taken to ensure that neither the devotees nor the staff working there roam around in the temple wearing slippers.
