The cross-voting incident in the Karnataka Legislative Council elections has created a stir in the BJP. State BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition R. Ashok and other leaders have been summoned to Delhi by party national president Nitin Nabin to seek an explanation on the issue. There have been allegations that votes belonging to party candidates in the elections went to other parties. The state BJP has also formed a special investigation committee into this.
