Sathupalli, June (Puvvada Nagendra Kumar Punnami District Reporter) Sathupalli police have registered a case against two people for illegally storing gas cylinders and liquor bottles in Buggapadu village of Sathupalli mandal in Khammam district without any government permission. On the orders of Sathupalli Police Inspector Tummalapalli Srihari, while Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar and his staff were conducting vehicle checks on Kakarlapalli Road on Friday morning, Kallur ACP Vasundara Yadav received reliable information that gas cylinders and liquor bottles were illegally stored in the house of Dubikuntla Veera Raghavulu of Buggapadu village. Following this, the police inspected the house in the presence of two panchayats and found that 20 gas cylinders and 730 liquor bottles were stored without any permission. During the investigation, the police said that Doobikuntla Veera Raghavulu and his younger sister Sadhu Radhika confessed that they had purchased cylinders and liquor from gas agencies and wine shops in Sathupalli, stored them at home and sold them at high prices. The police seized 20 gas cylinders and 730 liquor bottles worth Rs. 1,45,413 and registered a case against the two accused and started investigation.
