The havoc of strong winds in Ootukuru.. broken electricity poles!

-Heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds has created havoc in Ootukuru, Vinjamuru mandal, Nellore district. The strong gusty winds that accompanied the heavy rains in Ootukuru village of Vinjamuru mandal, Nellore district on Thursday have caused great hardship to the people. Due to the intensity of the winds, trees were uprooted in many places in the village and electricity poles were also broken. Electricity supply was completely cut off in some parts of the village due to the collapse of electricity poles. Locals said that trees had fallen on the roads. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. Upon receiving the information, the electricity department and village panchayat staff reached the spot and took up rescue measures. Officials said that work is being continued on a war footing to remove the fallen trees and restore electricity supply. People are advised to be vigilant in the wake of gusty winds and rains, and if they see any downed electric wires, they should inform the authorities immediately. Officials warned not to go out unless necessary until the weather conditions return to normal.
