A grand Tiruchi palanquin service was held at Penchalakona Kshetra. Devotees who participated in the Swami’s Kalyanotsavam and Unjal Seva performed special pooja programs for Chenchulakshmi and Adilakshmi Sametha Narasimha Swamy on Saturday at the famous shrine of Penchalakona. On this occasion, the priests performed the sacred Abhishekam and Sri Varla Kalyanotsavam in the morning. After the Unjal Seva in the evening, the ‘Tiruchi Seva’ of Sri Swamy was performed with the umbrellas offered by the devotees. The celebrations were grandly held amidst the chanting of mantras by the chief priests, Vedic scholars, auspicious instruments, and traditional instruments of the tribals. The temple received an income of Rs. 11,79,036/- through all the services performed for the Swami on this Saturday, said the Deputy Commissioner of the temple, Kovur Janardhan Reddy, in a statement.
