The Sri Hanuman Shobha Yatra began in Atmakur on Sunday. The procession was carried out with great devotion, with a huge idol of Lord Hanuman and various deities dressed up in costumes, dance performances, melatalas, and DJs, with the slogans of “Jai Hanuman” amidst great devotion. Devotees from all the mandals of the constituency participated in this procession, which started after offering aarti to the idol of Anjaneya Swamy, and the procession is continuing from the bypass road through several streets of the town with a scooter rally. The organizers have prepared all the necessary facilities for the procession. Under the leadership of DSP K. Venugopal, three CIs, eight SIs and more than 60 police personnel are conducting the arrangements for this procession.
