Zoology researcher Kumari Venkata Bhagyasri awarded YVU doctorate Kadapa, September 18 (Punnami Reporter): Yogi Vemana University has awarded a doctorate to Zoology research student Kumari Venkata Bhagyasri. The doctorate was conferred on her for her research on “Diversity, distribution and ecological biology of tropical period butterflies in some plains and hills of Andhra Pradesh, India” under the supervision of Professor S.P. Venkataramana, Department of Zoology, University Examination Controller Acharya T. Lakshmi Prasad said. Several research articles prepared by Kumari Venkata Bhagyasri as part of her research have been published in national and international journals. On the occasion of receiving her doctorate, Bhagyasri was congratulated by the University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Bellamkonda Rajasekhar, Registrar Acharya N.C. Gangireddy, Principal Acharya T. Srinivas, Research Supervisor, Convener, Head of Department Acharya V. Anuprasanna, faculty, researchers, and students.
