MRPS leaders submitted a petition to MLA Daggumati Venkata Krishna Reddy demanding justice for the Madigas in the matter of pensions for leather workers and drum artists in Kavali constituency. On the instructions of Padmashri Mandakrishna Madiga and the instructions of Manda Venkateswara Rao, they met the MLA under the leadership of Chevur Kiran Kumar Madiga and requested that pensions be granted to eligible professionals who have been depending on people for generations such as making slippers, making money, and playing music. The leaders said that the MLA responded positively to their petition and assured them that they would ensure that pensions are provided. Kavali Srinivasulu Madiga, Parusu Venkateswarlu Madiga, Panditi Raj Kumar Madiga, Mavuluri Salmon Madiga and others participated in the program.
