Atmakur, October 2 (Punnami Reporter): The Life Insurance Agents Federation of India, which has been standing for the welfare and protection of the rights of agents for more than six decades, celebrated its foundation day on Friday at the Atmakur (65J) branch of the life insurance company. On this occasion, the agents celebrated by cutting the foundation day cake. They expressed their wishes to each other and showed the unity and collective strength of the agents.

The leaders said on this occasion that LIAFI, which was formed in Bombay on October 2, 1964, is working for the welfare, protection of rights and professional respect of life insurance agents across the country. They said that they are constantly representing the issues faced by the agents in addition to bringing them to the attention of the management. They said that the LIAFI local unit was established in the 65J branch of Atmakur in the year 2000. Since then, the local unit has been working to resolve the problems of the agents under the branch and protect their rights. They said that there is a need to work together for the welfare of the agents in the future as well. The leaders said that the role of agents is crucial in bringing life insurance services closer to the people, and that every agent should work responsibly towards increasing awareness about insurance among the people and providing financial security to families. They called for moving forward with mutual cooperation, saying that the unity of the agents is the main strength of the association.

Liafi Atmakur Branch President Padachala Srinivasa Yadav, Secretary Mentem Srinivasulu Reddy, Treasurer Koduru Obul Reddy, Honorary President Sheikh Khajavali, Founder Secretary Kancharla Srihari Naidu, Atmakur Branch Insurance Employees Association Secretary S. Shyam Prabhakar, President T. Ramesh, Liafi senior leaders, life insurance agents and others participated in this program.
