Kadapa Mayor’s post should be reserved for minorities Punnami Representative, September 26: TDP District Vice President Dr. Nazimuddin has requested that the mayor’s post be reserved for minorities in the upcoming mayoral elections for the Kadapa Municipal Corporation. To this end, he handed over a memorandum containing his request to State In-charge Minister Savita at the Kadapa R&B Guesthouse on Saturday. He requested the minister to reserve the mayor’s post for minorities to ensure adequate representation in Kadapa city. He appealed to the high command to bring this issue to the attention of the people in the context of the upcoming municipal corporation elections and provide an opportunity for minorities in the post of mayor.
