TDP senior leader Komara Venkata Narasai has demanded legal action against YSRCP leaders who are repeatedly making false allegations against Mega DSC and disrupting law and order in the state. He has demanded that rowdy sheets be opened against former minister Jogi Ramesh and Devineni Avinash, who are facing allegations of attacks on candidates selected as teachers through Mega DSC under the sports quota. Speaking to reporters in Ontimitta on Monday, he said that the teachers selected under the sports quota say that they are qualified in every way and that they got jobs based on valid sports certificates. He said that it is unfortunate that they were attacked when they protested in front of the SAP office by publicly displaying their qualification certificates. Narasai said that teachers who got jobs through Mega DSC in many parts of the state are revealing their qualifications and explaining the facts to the people. However, he said that it is not right to continue false propaganda on DSC appointments. He advised people not to make baseless allegations through social media and broadcast media and try to mislead them. He said that the candidates are happy that Minister Ramprasad Reddy has provided assurances on behalf of the government to the teachers selected under the sports quota. He asked the government to stand by the qualified candidates. Narasaiah said that 14 DSCs have been conducted in the united Andhra Pradesh so far, and about two lakh unemployed people have been provided teaching jobs through nine of them during the rule of the Telugu Desam government. He criticized that the announcements made by the previous government in the name of job calendar have not been implemented in practice. He asked the government to take legal action against those who act in a way that disrupts law and order in the state and against those who spread false propaganda on social media.
