YSR Congress Party Women’s Wing State General Secretary Ekula Rajeshwari Reddy criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for using the Tirumala laddu prasadam adulteration issue politically and spreading false propaganda to mislead the people. Speaking to reporters at her residence in Bhakarapet in the mandal on Tuesday, she said that the facts need to come to light in the ongoing investigation and inquiry into the allegations of laddu prasadam adulteration. Rajeshwari Reddy said that it is necessary to act responsibly by keeping in mind the sentiments of the devotees in the matter of Tirumala Srivari laddu prasadam. She said that it is not right to turn an issue related to the faith of devotees into a platform for political criticism and allegations. She demanded that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu give a clear answer to the people on the allegations that laddu adulteration took place during the previous government’s tenure. She said that just making allegations does not make them facts, and the people should be informed based on the evidence and facts that come to light during the investigation. She said that people are paying attention to the issues that have emerged in the SIT investigation under the auspices of the CBI. She suggested that the faith of the devotees and the sanctity of the temple should be given priority over political interests in matters related to a holy shrine like Tirumala. She also criticized the current government’s policies. She asked the government to act responsibly on the promises made to the people and the decisions taken during the administration. She stated that it is a fact that the YSR Congress Party will return to power in the upcoming general elections. Rajeshwari Reddy also said that the alleged irregularities in the DSC will also come to light in the future. She said that the YSR Congress Party will continuously fight against public problems, the difficulties faced by the unemployed and students.
