New licenses for 60 liquor shops in Kadapa district Punnami Rep. September 25, Kadapa New licenses will be granted to 60 liquor shops in Kadapa district as part of the 2026-27 excise policy. For this, the authorities have issued a notification for the selection of liquor shops through a draw. The application fee for each liquor shop has been fixed at Rs. 3 lakh and the processing fee at Rs. 1,000. Officials said that a candidate can apply for one or more shops. The deadline for submission of applications has been fixed till 12 midnight on October 1. The draw process will be conducted under the auspices of the District Collector at the new Collectorate at 8 am on October 5. The candidates selected in the draw will have to obtain a license as per the rules prescribed by the government.
