Students made aware of wet and dry waste segregation in Swachhta Hi Seva program Kadapa, September 18 (Punnami Reporter): As part of the Swachhta Hi Seva program, an awareness program on wet and dry waste segregation was organized for students at Gandhinagar School in the city limits under the auspices of Additional Commissioner of Kadapa Municipal Corporation Shri Rakesh Chandra on Friday. On this occasion, the need to collect wet and dry waste separately at home and provide it to the sanitation staff was explained to the students. Later, the students themselves carried out the process of separating the garbage into wet and dry waste and created awareness about waste segregation. The officials suggested that the students should create awareness about wet and dry waste segregation not only in their homes but also in the surrounding areas. They called on everyone to be a partner in building a clean and healthy city. Municipal Corporation officials, public health staff, school teachers and students participated in the program.
