Mandal Parishad Development Officer Radhakrishna Veni on Wednesday organized awareness among the people on the bin-bag system in DNpally village under Muddanur Gram Panchayat. On this occasion, the MPDO suggested that every family should separate wet and dry waste and provide it. He said that wet waste should be put in a bin and given to the green ambassadors coming from the Gram Panchayat every day, and dry waste should be separated in a bag and given to the Swachh Rath that comes to the village twice a month. He explained that by providing dry waste to the Swachh Rath, families have the opportunity to generate income. He suggested that the people of the village should cooperate in sanitation measures by keeping the environment clean and not throwing garbage in open places. Later, at the Waste to Wealth Creation Center in Muddanur Gram Panchayat, the Panchayat Development Officers of all the Gram Panchayats in the mandal were made aware of the implementation of the bin-bag system, the system of separating and collecting garbage from each household, and the preparation of vermicompost (earthworm manure) from wet garbage. The MPDO suggested that the bin-bag system should be effectively implemented in the villages and sanitation should be improved. Lakshmi Narasimhulu, Panchayat Development Officers of all the Gram Panchayats in the mandal, and Green Ambassadors participated in the program.
