Vemula July 20: Surya News With the aim of working more effectively for the protection of the rights, welfare and professional dignity of journalists across the state, state president and founder K. Srinivasulu handed over the appointment letter to Gangadhar Yadav at the Kadapa district headquarters on Monday. He said that he has been entrusted with these key responsibilities in recognition of his leadership, who works sincerely on the problems of journalists. Speaking on the occasion, K. Srinivasulu said that the association is constantly working to solve the professional, economic and social problems faced by journalists in the media sector. As the state general secretary, Gangadhar Yadav suggested expanding the association further across the state and strengthening committees at the district, constituency and mandal levels to speed up membership registration. He also hoped that the association would take the lead in fighting harassment, illegal cases and professional issues against journalists and stand by young journalists. Speaking, the new state general secretary, Gangadhar Yadav, said that he would uphold the trust placed in him by the association and would work to ensure that the association stands by every journalist in the state. He said that he would work together to protect the rights of journalists, expand welfare programs, strengthen membership and develop the association. Later, Gangadhar Yadav honored state president K. Srinivas with a garland and presented a bouquet of flowers and expressed his gratitude. In turn, Srinivas also honored Gangadhar Yadav with a dushalava and wished him success in his new responsibilities. Association leaders, journalists and media representatives participated in the program and congratulated Gangadhar Yadav on his appointment. They expressed their hope that under his leadership, the Rayalaseema Journalist Welfare Association will become stronger across the state and play a key role in achieving the rights of journalists.
