Visakhapatnam, (Punnami Reporter): Another worker who was injured in the recent accident at the Visakha Steel Plant has died. Suribabu, a resident of Sitanagaram village in Pedagantyada mandal, passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Seven Hills Hospital. With Suribabu’s death, the number of people who lost their lives in the accident has reached 10. He has been receiving treatment in the hospital with serious injuries since the accident, but the doctors’ efforts have been in vain. The deceased Suribabu is survived by his wife Varalakshmi, son Lokesh, and daughter Pramila. His family members are deeply saddened by the loss of the head of the family. A shadow of sadness has also fallen over Suribabu’s hometown, Sitanagaram. A large number of villagers and relatives are visiting his family and expressing condolences. While labor unions are expressing concern over this tragic incident at the steel plant, an investigation into the causes of the accident is ongoing. Labor unions are demanding justice for the families of the deceased and strict safety measures to prevent similar accidents from recurring in the future.
